I was thrilled to hear your voice the other day on K-Earth. You were filling in for Gary Bryan, and I recognized your voice before you even identified yourself. There were some strange looks from other commuters as I screamed “Woo Hoo! Charlie’s back!” from inside my car. But what do they know?

I’ve been a fan since your 93 KHJ days ( I can still hear their jingle in my mind) when you were #1 on my list, followed by the real Don Steele, Robert W. Morgan (I still miss him). I suppose I’m dating myself . . .

Anyway, so glad to hear you again. When you were on that OTHER LA station a few years ago (you know, the one that only wanted to play disco), I only listened when you were on the air.

Just wish you were on KRTH during the week.
