Tonight, I’m hosting our Warner Park Annual Show & fireworks! It’s free!

Every year for the past 3 decades, I’ve been honored to be host for the West San Fernando Valley’s biggest free entertainment show and fireworks display! It started out at Pierce College, and when Pierce College could no longer be the site, Los Angeles City Councilman Dennis Zine organized the event with the cooperation of the Valley Cultural Center for Warner Park where it’s been for the past decade! This is what it looked like last year just before the show started at 6 p.m., and by the time darkness sets in, the park is packed with over 50,000 spectators!

Congressman Brad Sherman, on the left, always arranges for a military fly over to salute the event, and it’ll be happening again tonight! This picture from 2008, is when he surprised me with an American flag flown over our nation’s Capitol, a gift I really cherish, and on the right, the man of the hour, L.A. City Councilman Dennis Zine, who pulls this whole event together every year with the help of Jim Kinsey and the Valley Cultural Center for a great night of fun & fireworks! There’s plenty of food with all the vendors, lots of things to see & buy, and fantastic entertainment for the 3 hours leading up to the 9 o’clock fireworks!

Here’s a view someone shot last year of the fireworks from just outside the park. If you’re in the park, near the speakers, you’ll hear some great patriotic music to go with the display! Come join us! Click on this link for directions to the park in Woodland Hills, CA in the San Fernando Valley!
