A 5.8 QUAKE ROCKED WASHINGTON D.C., NEW YORK CITY, AND SURROUNDING AREAS AS FAR SOUTH AS GEORGIA AT 1:51 P.M. EDT TUESDAY AFTERNOON. PRELIMINARY REPORTS RATED THE QUAKE AT 5.3, BUT THEN IT WAS UPGRADED TO 5.8. THIS IS ONE OF THE EARLY VIDEO REPORTS!
