Where’s Bruce Willis? We’ve got an asteroid passing us really close!

An asteroid bigger than an aircraft carrier will be whizzing past earth closer to us than our moon this Tuesday, November 8th, but nothing to worry about, scientists say! Coincidentally, there is a nationwide EAS test (Emergency Broadcast System Alert) at 2 p.m. ET on Wednesday, November 9th! If that size of an asteroid hit the earth, we would have an emergency for sure. Purdue University researchers say the results would be a 4000-megaton blast, producing secondary results anywhere from 7.0+ magnitude earthquakes to 70-foot tsunamis if it crashed in the ocean…well, there’s goes that extra hour of sleep you got over the weekend worrying about this now:)
