The asteroid that whizzed by our planet Tuesday is a football-shaped object about the size of an aircraft carrier. Known as YU55, and yes, the asteroid missed us by about 200,000 miles, and fortunately didn’t hit our moon either, which would have put a little damper on the full moon this Thursday!
