So this is that dreaded weekend that we lose that precious hour of sleep on Saturday night by the time we wake up Sunday! Where did all this start? I had always heard it was Ben Franklin who came up with this clock changing idea, but it turns out it was actually proposed by a guy who wanted to spend more time adding to his insect collection. If that’s the case, we’re still trying to work the bugs out twice a year resetting our body clocks for the week after it happens both times! And does it really save that much energy, are there more accidents when it happens in the days after, and what states or countries ignore this entire practice of resetting our clocks anyway? All the answers are here on this video!
