Meredith Viera, “Millionaire” host, Injured By Excited Contestant!

Meredith Viera, former member of “The View”, co-anchor on “The Today Show”, and now host of the syndicated “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire”, took one for the team the other day with contestant Lee Yanco of New York, NY, who got a little too excited after answering a $25,000 question and injured Meredith’s hand with a very hard high-five! Meredith returned after a commercial break with her hand wrapped in a bandage. Meredith, always a favorite guest of mine on my radio shows and who has a wicked sense of humor, has had her share of hand issues recently. While covering the London Olympics for NBC, she got an infection in her left thumb. Watch what she says to contestant Lee after showing off her bandaged hand!
