Cute video posted by his dad, 4 year old Malcolm from Maine’s first descent of the first ramp on Hellion at Highland Park Mountain Bike Park with a video camera attached to his helmet, shows Malcolm enjoying not only the incredible trails, but the supportive friendly community and staff. His dad adds that it’s a wonderful place for kids to get together to ride and have fun. The video is about 9 minutes, but you’ll get the idea of the fun Malcolm’s having in the first couple of minutes, especially at about 43-seconds, where the 4-year-old says, “Oh yeah, buddy!”

I spent 20 years in the bike business. Had the good fortune to meet hundreds and hundreds of great people who loved to ride. I have spent the last 10 years as a technology educator in elementary schools. Let me tell you this, kids should not be spending their childhoods in front of ANY simulated gamed on any electronic device. They should be outside experiencing real life just like that 4 year old kid. Kudos to dad on this one. I mean wow, there are literally 9 and 10 year olds who cannot ride a two wheeler and this 4 year old was JAMMIN!
