Helen Mirren, Latest Star Inducted To The Hollywood Walk Of Fame!

Oscar winner Helen Mirren, with 2007′s “The Queen,” was the queen of Hollywood Thursday, receiving the 2,488th star on the Walk of Fame. “The ‘queen’s’ star,” said Leron Gubler, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce president and chief exec, “is located right next to that of the ‘king,’ Colin Firth. We’ve kind of made this, in front of the Pig ‘N Whistle, we’ve kind of made this a Brit location.” Helen Mirren’s reaction, “I couldn’t be prouder and more happy that I’m actually going to finally lie next to Colin Firth, something I’ve been wanting to do for a very long time. Sorry darling,” she told husband Taylor Hackford, who attended along with the couple’s two sons. “I do love you very much, but, you know …”"This is such, honestly, the most spectacular day for me,” said Mirren, 67. “I’m so very, very proud to be henceforth walked upon, have fries dropped upon, maybe even be peed upon by future generations of tourists, Angelenos and their dogs.
