JIMMY KIMMEL IS HILARIOUS IN OSCAR NIGHT SHOW SKIT, “THE HANDSOME MEN’S CLUB”!

Jimmy Kimmel has one of the best late night shows that people are slowly discovering, especially with some of the brilliant produced pieces that turn up in the show, like “The Handsome Men’s Club” on Oscar night!

ACADEMY AWARDS TELECAST SCORES BIGGEST RATINGS IN 5 YEARS FOR OSCARS!

The world’s biggest movie lost the biggest prize, but “Avatar” might have won the night for Oscar.Sunday night’s James Cameron-denying Academy Awards scored the awards show’s largest audience in five years, averaging 41.3 million viewers, ABC said.

The signs (read: box-office billions) were all there; TVbytheNumbers even predicted an “Avatar bounce last week. As Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin could have been told by Billy Crystal—he of Oscar’s titanic “Titanic” ceremony—it’s good to host in the same year as a Cameron record setter.

LATEST LINDSAY LOHAN PUBLICITY? SHE’S SUING E-TRADE FOR MILKAHOLIC AD WITH “LINDSAY”!

Her name is Lindsay Lohan and she’s a delusional narcissist milkaholic? Yes, and a result, Lindsay has filed a $100 million lawsuit against the baby-loving ad men over at E-Trade, alleging that they unlawfully encroached on the Lohan brand by naming the milkaholic tot in their talking-baby Super Bowl commercial—get this—Lindsay.

Her attorney, Stephanie Ovadia, says Lohan warrants the same single-name recognition as Oprah and Madonna, and claims that using “Lindsay” as the name for the milk-drinking boyfriend stealer in the commercial is capitalizing on her fame.

“Her name was used for the commercial benefit of E-Trade and she should be compensated fairly for that,” Olvadia states. “She’s very upset about it. They did not have permission nor her consent. It’s not something that she would have agreed to.”

Broken down, Lohan’s attorneys, who filed the lawsuit in Nassau County Supreme Court Monday, say the spot violates a New York state civil rights law that used her name and characterization without approval—or, more importantly, compensation.

Lohan’s team is seeking $50 million in exemplary damages, and another $50 million in compensatory damages.

“We actually haven’t seen the complaint or gotten documentation from her people, so we don’t have a comment as of yet,” E-Trade spokeswoman Allison Jeannotte responded.

HOW BIG IS OUR UNIVERSE WE ARE PART OF? TRY ABOUT 78 BILLION LIGHT YEARS ACROSS!

Since Tony Darnell first made the Hubble Deep Field: The Most Important Image Ever Taken video, there has been a consistent avalanche of comments stating that there is no way the universe can be this large. Figuring out the size of the universe isn’t as simple as just multiplying the distance light travels in one year by the age of the universe.

We need to account for the expansion.

Astronomers have recently estimated a lower limit to the size of the universe to be roughly 78 billion light years in diameter. In this video Tony Darnell trys to explain how that’s possible.

IF I COULD TAKE JUST A MOMENT AND THANK MY TWO SONS, DANIEL AND BRYAN, FOR GIVING DAD ALL THEIR HELP RECENTLY IN RELAUNCHING MY NEW NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONALLY SYNDICATED RADIO SHOW AND UPDATING MY WEBSITE

Without both of them, nothing I do on the radio and on this website would be possible. Bryan designed this website and updates all the technical stuff, most recently changing servers and moving all my content to a new Word Press program. It took him an extraordinary amount of hours, and the work is still ongoing, and he, like Daniel, has a regular day job.

Daniel, on the other hand, has taught me everything I know about Pro-Tools, computers, Tivo’s, my home studio equipment, anything at all to do with this digital world we live in. He puts it into terms I understand. He built my home studio and constantly is there for me for any technical question 24/7. Daniel also produced, shot and edited the first of a series of videos that will be posted of my syndicated show radio interviews, this one with Matthew and Gunnar Nelson.

WHILE DANIEL’S PRODUCING VIDEOS OF MY RADIO INTERVIEWS FOR MY SYNDICATED SHOW, BRYAN IS DOING AN ENTIRE ALBUM OF MUSIC VIDEOS ONLINE. HERE’S HIS LATEST BELOW!

Track 08 from the real-time album, OK To Disconnect. Subscribe and check back on 04.06.10 for Track 09.

This is the complete song in its entirety, including the time lapse video corresponding with most of the work done for the song. Please comment or rate the music video if you would be so kind.

Spread the word and pass some links around of your favorite track. Embed these into your profiles, favorite them, comment, I don’t care. Just enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.

KATHRYN BIGELOW AND “THE HURT LOCKER” DOMINATE THE 82ND ANNUAL OSCAR AWARDS!

Kathryn Bigelow made Oscar history (seen here accepting her trophy from Barbra Streisand), when she became the first female to land the top director honor, beating the competition in her category, including her ex-husband James Cameron in the process.

Calling the huge win “the moment of a lifetime,” Bigelow dedicated the award to “the women and men in the military who risk their lives on a daily basis in Iraq and Afghanistan and around the world.”

War movie “The Hurt Locker” was the toast of Hollywood on Sunday night after leading the Oscars with six honors, including Best Director and Best Picture.

The film also claimed the night’s sound awards, film editing and original screenplay prizes, as it collected six of the nine accolades it was nominated for.

“Avatar”, the world’s biggest grossing movie ever, was a triple winner and Up, Crazy Heart and Precious won double.

All the pre-show favorites won the big acting prizes with Jeff Bridges claiming Best Actor, Sandra Bullock Best Actress, Mo’Nique Best Supporting Actress and Christoph Waltz Best Supporting Actor.

Bigelow led what became a great night for firsts.
