Most people loved ‘Batman Begins’ as epic, ‘The Dark Knight’ a masterpiece, and now, Christopher Nolan back in the director’s chair, Jonathan Nolan resuming script-writing, and Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, and Michael Caine in their roles, along with Anne Hathaway as Catwoman and Tom Hardy as Bane, as the new villains, it looks like it will be as explosive as the football field seen in this trailer!

2011 may be the worst year for movie revenues since 1995! Did you see any?

Posted by: | Dec. 19, 2011 at noon

It’s been a down year for Hollywood overall! Revenues the past 3 weekends have been Hollywood’s worst of the year, the latest weekend was down 12 per cent lower than the same weekend in 2010 as Hollywood struggles to interest audiences in its big year-end releases. Paul Dergarabedian, an analyst for box-office tracker Hollywood.com, estimated that the number of tickets sold domestically in 2011 will come in below 1.3 billion. That would be the lowest attendance since 1995, when admissions totalled 1.26 billion. So what was out there? Here are the 2011 Movies, from The Adjustment Bureau to Zookeeper. It was a year of creativity, passion, ingenuity, and bravado, War horses, evil clowns, hobos with shotguns, super-powered Nazi hunters, cancer comedies, a silent warrior in a scorpion jacket, iconoclasts, conspirators, madmen, and crusaders. Something for everyone.

Paris Jackson, Michael’s daughter, in her first-ever TV interview on ‘Ellen’!

Posted by: | Dec. 16, 2011 at 5:11 a.m.

Paris Jackson’s first-ever TV interview on the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ & Paris, Michael Jackson’s daughter, was an incredibly poised perfect interview guest, especially considering it was her first time! Having done thousands of interviews over the years in my career, and some first time guests who had never done interviews, this was one of the best I’ve seen! As a guest, you have to come with stories, respond to questions with more than a sentence or two, and be open to the line of questioning and know how to deflect or steer the conversation away from talking points you’re not comfortable with, but give the interviewer something else as good in return. Big props to Ellen for a great job on her part with the questions and Paris responses gets an A+++ too from me, as she talked about everything from what it was like growing up as the daughter of the biggest pop sensation in the world, to wearing masks in public, her realization that she wanted to be an actor, and a plug for her new film “Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys.”

Google’s 2011 tumultuous Year In Review in Video and Photographs!

Posted by: | Dec. 16, 2011 at 2:02 a.m.

What a 12 months it’s been, from the death of Osama bin Laden, to the Libyan uprising & death of Moammar Gadhafi, our troops finally coming home from Iraq, The massive Japan earthquake & tsunami, the Royal Wedding, the Occupy movement of the protesters, the YouTube explosion of Rebecca Black, the passing of Steve Jobs and his legacy of iPhone4s & the iPad2 before he left us, trials of Casey Anthony & Dr. Conrad Murray, the financial tumult with the stock market record ups & downs, to the Eurozone affecting our economic recovery, people all over the country holding on to their dollars because of uncertain future of their jobs or getting one to go back to work, to a ridiculous bitter political battle that resembled 2 year old kids throwing tantrums, between Republicans & Democrats that left us a downgraded credit rating for the first time ever because the lack of working for the common good of the country took second place in our lawmakers’ minds who are more worried about getting reelected with contributions from special interest groups, and partisan politics over compromise, resulting in 9 out of every 10 Americans wanting to vote all of Congress out of office! Oh, and don’t forget all the scandals and tabloid headlines from celebrities to politicians.
