KDOC-TV, Los Angeles has named Los Angeles radio icon Charlie Tuna as the voice of the station. Charlie Tuna has worked as morning drive personality for more stations and formats than anyone in Los Angeles radio history! “We are thrilled to have such a well-known Los Angeles personality as the voice of KDOC-TV”, says John Manzi, President and General Manager of KDOC. “So many of our viewers have grown up listening to Charlie that he seemed like a natural fit for us”. Charlie adds, “I couldn’t be happier about the invitation to be part of KDOC-TV! With their daily line-up of iconic TV comedy & drama series, classic movies, plus live sports presentations like the L.A. Galaxy, it’s my whole Southern California life & career of my favorite shows & sports I’ve watched!” KDOC-TV can be seen (and heard!) on all the Los Angeles Cable and Satellite systems and over the air on Channel 56.

Los Angeles Kings Take A 2-0 Series Lead Toward Stanley Cup Trophy!

The LA Kings’ NHL playoffs road streak continued with a second overtime win in New Jersey to give them a huge step toward their first Stanley Cup. Jeff Carter scored 13 minutes into overtime to give the Kings a 2-1 win and a 2-0 series lead over the New Jersey Devils. The Kings are now 10-0 on the road in the 2012 playoffs and a phenomenal 14-2 overall. It is the first time since 1951 (Toronto Maple Leafs vs Montreal Canadiens) that the first two Stanley Cup finals games have been settled in overtime. The Kings are the twelfth team to win the first two games of the Stanley Cup finals on the road. And 9 of the previous 11 teams that got the first 2 went on to win the Stanley Cup!
